Two lacquer manjû. 18th/19th century

a) Two-part. Of large round shape. In gold and silver hiramakie cherry blossom branches and very large leaves on nashiji, nashiji to the inside, the single cord hole lines with silver, and b) two-part. Of oval shape, the upper part displaying five mon in makie, black lacquer and metal inlay on a nashiji ground, the borders with a keyfret pattern, black lacquer and fundame to the inside, metal fittings.
