A porcelain cup and saucer with micromosaic birds

Saucer and associated cup of octagonal section decorated with faux micromosaic birds and pietra dura tripods. Gilded interior. The saucer with blue sceptre mark with red enamel dash, black sickle painter's mark, impressed mark. The cup impressed S, 2, and 833. D saucer 14.1, H cup 9 cm.
The saucer Berlin KPM, c. 1803 - 13, the cup presumably Paris, Edmé Samson manufactory, probably 19th C.

The manufactory of Edmé Samson occasionally used an impressed letter S as its mark, hence the conforming cup to this set may have been commissioned and produced there.
