81 vintage gelatin silver prints. Each approx. 30.4 x 20.7 cm, portrait and landscape formats. 48 prints with photographer's stamp, 33 prints with 'VISA-DISTRIBUTION' copyright stamp, thereof 8 prints additionally with typewritten photographer's name on a paper label, 12 prints annotated in an unknown hand in ballpoint pen on the verso.

The photographs were taken during the filming of the literary adaptation of 'The Trial' (Franz Kafka) for which Orson Welles wrote the screenplay and directed the film. The cast includes Anthony Perkins as Josef K., Orson Welles as the lawyer Hastler, Jeanne Moreau as Miss Burstner and Romy Schneider as Leni.
