A cast iron plate and a plaque "Winter"

Black patinated cast iron reliefs with a depiction of winter designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen. Winter is here represented as an allegory of old age by an elderly couple. D plate 20.5, plaque D 14 cm.
Attributed to the Princely Anhalt Iron Foundry at Mägdesprung, around 1850, after a motif by Bertel Thorvaldsen.
