Decorated with exotic birds perched on branches above gold and lustrework brackets. Blue bindenschild mark, 87. in black, year stamp 807, pressnummer 59. H 14.8, D plate 19.1 cm.

The "Histoire naturelle des oiseaux" by Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon, Philippe Guéneau de Montbeillard and Louis-Gabriel Léopold Charles Amé Bexon, which was published in nine volumes in Paris from 1770 onwards, is a possible model for the finely painted depictions of birds.
