A portrait miniature of the English lawyer and judge Sir John Richardson

Enamel on copper bust length portrait in a blue jacket. Signed and dated "Painted by H. Bone ARA Enamel Painter to H.R. Highness The Prince of Wales Febr. 1806" on the counter enamel of the reverse. 5.9 x 4.5 cm. Original gilt metal frame.
Henry Bone, London, 1806.

Henry Bone was among the best enamel painters of his era and worked as court miniaturist to the English Kings George III, George IV and William IV.
