A pair of portrait miniatures of a genleman and a lady

Gouache on ivory portraits against cloudy skies. Monogrammed "E" lower right. Signed and dated "Geo[rge] Engleheart No. 4 Hertford Street Mayfair pinxit 1810 [and 1812]" on the backings. Various old labels affixed to the frames. Cracks in both frames. 8,4 x 7,0 cm. Ebonised wood frames.
