Während sich diese Zeichnung in der Sammlung Joseph noch als Werk eines "Unbekannter Meisters" befand, hat sie in der Galerie Fred Kline eine Zuschreibung an Annibale Carracci erfahren. Obwohl es sich um eine durchaus qualitätvolle italienische Zeichnung aus dem 17. Jahrhundert handelt, lässt sich diese Zuschreibung jedoch nicht eindeutig bestätigen, da sie keinem Werk Carraccis unmittelbar zuzuordnen ist.
