Conrad Kiesel

Conrad Kiesel was considered the most established portrait painter of his time in Berlin. His works were repeatedly awarded the gold medal at the exhibitions of the Berlin Academy. His highly sophisticated society portraits were also exhibited at the Academy of Düsseldorf, the Munich Glaspalast, and at the World’s Fairs in Paris (1900) and Rome (1911), as well as in numerous annual exhibitions of international academies, ranging from Vienna and Brussels to London.
