Bronze sculpture. Height 20.5 cm. Unsigned. Mounted on light wood square base (3.1 x 11 x 11 cm). Only few casts are known; the catalogue raisonné mentions 3. - Fine regular dark brown patina.

According to the catalogue raisonné, a "fragment of a standing woman with child. Collapsed in summer 1957" (Marlies Lammert in: Deutsche Akademie der Künste (ed.), Will Lammert, Dresden 1963, p. 157). Designed for the last project of the artist, a commission for the memorial monument of Ravensbrück, the concentration camp; it was left incomplete due to the death of the artist in 1957.
