A St. Petersburg enamel, silver, gilt and gold box

Of oblong form. Transluscent enamel pale blue enamel over wave form guilloche, mounted with chased gold borders. The edges set with mossy agate panels, the clasp with a rose-cut diamond. Hallmarks: St. Petersburg assay mark for 88 zolotnik with initials of Jakow Ljapunow, 1896 - 1903 (Goldberg, 1937), stamp of K. Fabergé and marks of August Frederick Hollming. A small dent to the mountings. L 8.4 cm.
