2 works on paper: Watercolour and ink over preliminary pencil drawing on ribbed wove paper and watercolour, ink and goldish bronze pigment on Japan laid paper 59.8 x 42.5 cm and 24.3 x 30.5 cm Each framed under glass. Stamped and signed 'ERICH BUCHHOLZ Erich Buchholz' and monogrammed and dated 'EB 1921' lower right. - The paper slightly browned in the mat opening and with several creases to the right and lower margins. Brownish stains to the corners from a former mounting. The back of the Japan laid paper with brown stains to the lower center which show through recto.
The work "Untitled (Black-Red-Gold)" is a counterpart to Ilk i 62. The other composition is a preliminary work for a serigraph in the portfolio "Buchholz 6 signierte Serigraphien, Editions Panderma Carl Laszlo, Basel 1972 [sic]", published in 1971 (cf. Ilk K 58).
