An abstract painting by Gu Gan (born 1942)

An abstract painting by Gu Gan (born 1942) entitled Walk (Chinese 'bu') and alluding to Chinese characters. Ink on paper, backed. Crumpled effect to areas of paper, one of the 'shuimo jili' techniques involving the spraying of an ink and water solution onto the paper. Inscribed and signed 1992, written by Gu Gan and sealed changshou (Long Life), wanxiang (Ten Thousand Phenomena) and Gu Gan. Framed and glazed.
