A very large ivory netsuke of the Seven Gods of Good Luck in a boat. Late 19th century

Seated in a boat surrounded by foaming waves with a swimming seam bream, all of the shichi fukujin’s attributes arranged behind them, the spear at the bow, a large stiff fan, the mallet, a bag, rice bales, a tama atop a fan, and a biwa.
Height 4.8 cm, length 9.8 cm
