Westphalian School 2nd half 16th century

Portrait of Goswin von Raesfeld Portrait of Ermgart von Bemmelsberg

Oil on panel. Each 24.5 x 20.5 cm.

Each dated "1574" to the upper left. The frames are not original, but traditionally belonged to the paintings in the former collection and have been inscribed, probably in the 19th century, with: "GOESWIN VON RAESFELT, HER ZV MORKERCKE, DROSTE DES LANS VO TWENT" and "ERMGART VON BEMMELSBERCH GENANT VON HONSTEIN SÜNE HVSFRAW."
