with a fine crystal opal cabochon of ca. 24.35 ct (25.45 x 22.10 x 5.95 mm) in a capsule of foliate design set with six small Oriental demi-pearls (not tested). Stamped fineness 585, maker's mark "PAUL PETERSEN". Fine drying cracks to the opal. Total H 5.2 cm. Weight 16.4 g.
