An 18k partially rhodium-plated white gold and diamond brooch.

Set with a brilliant solitaire of 2.18 ct (8.23 - 8.32 x 5.21 mm, VS2, I/J, no fluorescence). Maker's mark "DZAMONJA". L 8 cm. Weight 21.7 g.
Dusan Dzamonja (Strumika/Jugoslawien 1928 - Zagreb 2009).

The Macedonian sculptor Dusan Dzamonja, who studied at the art academy in Zagreb and was a master pupil of Frano Krsinic, was invited to the Venice Biennale in 1960 and the Documenta III in Kassel in 1964. The Yugoslavian state commissioned him for numerous public art works.
