An Augsburg silver gilt tankard. A wedding medallion by Wermuth (ca. 1720) to the lid. Marks of Heinrich Mannlich, 1663 - 66.

H 16 cm, weight 746 g.

Fine quality figural depictions are typical of Mannlich's works, which comprise primarily of trompe l'oeil platters and reliefs and can now be found in the Landesmuseum Württemberg, the Moscow Kreml Museum and the Schatzkammer in Vienna.
