Manfred Henniger - who initially studied at the Staatliche Akademie in Stuttgart and from 1922 onwards at the Kunstakademie Dresden under Oskar Kokoschka and Karl Albiker - was one of the co-founders of the Stuttgarter Neue Sezession.
