A large three-case Shibayama-type inrô. Late 19th century

A large three-case Shibayama-type inrô displaying a scroll with three nô masks, Okina, Buaku and Hannya, the second inscribed "Buaku Deme saku", the third inscribed "Hannya Kasuga saku", and a second closed scroll, both scrolls inscribed "Nô men ga" and with their furoshiki, in takamakie, hiramakie, red, white and silver lacquer and inlays of mother-of-pearl. Signed Teimin on an inlaid scroll-shaped tablet. Nashiji to the inside. Two small losses to the Okina mask. Late 19th century.
