A bronze food vessel of gui type on a high slanting foot, the body with vertical ribbing and firmly moulded lip, the two handles with an animal head on top, with the body of a bird and a rectangular pendant with clawed feet. In the registers at the foot and neck whirligig bosses alternating with flower-like motifs, as well as animal heads in the upper register. Three engraved characters to the inside. With a smooth light olive-green patina. In the style of the early Western Zhou dynasty.
