A Nepalese gilt copper figure of Chakrasamvara yab yum. 19th century

A Nepalese gilt-copper figure of Chakrasamvara with his consort standing on two prostrate figures on a circular lotus base, his principal hands holding vajra and ghanta, the others radiating around his body and holding his specific attributes, wearing a mala of severed heads and many body ornaments. The flaming aureole behind them moulded with skulls and vajras. Cast in several pieces. Base open. One detail missing. 19th century.
