Gilt hands, 14-day verge escapement movement with thread suspension, two-hammer striking to two bells, the movement attached to the corpus with four original screws. An époque Louis XV ormolu cartouche-form cartel clock. Signed to the plate "Humbert & Robert AParis", the bronze to the upper left stamped "S.GERMAIN". Chips around the winding holes, not running. H 47 cm.
The bronze Jean-Joseph de Saint-German, mid 18th C., the movement Paris.
