A probably Central Rhenish carved wooden Anna Selbdritt group, second half 15th century.

Carved three-quarters in the round, the reverse flattened. With older polychromy.. The group is designed for a frontal viewpoint and shows Saint Anne seated on a throne holding her daughter Mary under her left arm, whilst Mary holds the Christ Child in Her lap.
Saint Anne's left hand, the right hand of the Virgin and the Christ Child's arms lost. The front left of the throne lost due to insect damage. Mounted on a flat wooden plinth. Height 65 cm (without plinth).
