Mixed lot: 2 architectural models made from plastic and plastic, metal, light bulb, and wood resp. and 7 felt tip pen drawings, of which 3 coloured, on card and 4 colour offsets on card. Height 31 cm and 17.5 cm (models) resp. and each 61 x 47.5 and 47.5 x 61 cm (sheets) resp. The drawings each monogrammed and dated 'OP' (joined) '90', partially titled 'Triumvirat Einstein-Leonardo-Newton', partially inscribed with information on the project. - Minor traces of age.

The present works are sketches for the design of the square at Media Park, Cologne. Otto Piene was invited to create the artistic design of the site. He designed, among other things, a bridge with glass pavilions in the shape of portraits of Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci and Isaac Newton. The two architectural models explain the three-dimensional execution. The drawings illustrate the design from various perspectives. In the end, the fountain “Starpit” was realised which was inaugurated in 1992.
