A blue and white 'qilin' saucer dish, painted across the entire interior with a large crouching qilin facing backwards and emitting fire scrolls from its open jaws, beside a large banana tree. Apocryphal four-character mark Yu tang jia qi (Fine vessel for the Jade Hall). 19th century.
