A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life, seated in vajrasana on a lotus throne with his hands held in dhyana mudra and holding the kalasa in his hands. The dhoti finely engraved with a floral pattern, the jewellery inlaid with turquoises. Base open. 15th/16th century.
