Decorated with Poseidon and Amphitrite to the lid. Chased silver dial with roman hours and arabic minutes, demi-lune aperture for day and night, blued minute and gilt hour hands. High, fire-gilt movement with verge escapement, chain and fusee. With original silver key. Dial and movement signed "Nieuwenhof(f) Amsterdam". Glass replaced. Total diameter 5.8 cm. Total weight 157.5 g.
