A French 18k gold, silver, diamond and moonstone owl brooch by Paul Robin

Designed as a stylised owl face, the eyes set with moonstone cabochons surrounded by rose-cut diamonds. Stamped with indistinct Paris guarantee 1838 - 1919, inscribed "Je pense". Diameter 3.1 cm. Weight 19 g.
Paris ca. 1875/80.
