A South German faience jug with "hausmaler" decor

Depicting the flaying of Marsyas and Diana appearing before the satyr. Incised C and a large iron red M to the unglazed base. The glaze crazed and with slight flaws. A chip to the base of the handle. H 24 and 30 cm.
Mid-18th C.
