A British royal presentation carriage clock

Enamelled brass case set with rubies, eight-day running with alarm function and half-hourly striking to a bell. Winding holes concealed beneath a sliding mechanism. Engraved to the top "FROM VR AUG 14.1864". Signed and engraved to dial and plate: "Klaftenberger", movement no. 993. H 11.4 cm.
Presented by Queen Victoria on 14th August 1864.
