A Anuradhapura gilt bronze figure of a Buddha seated in meditation, the hands in dhyana mudra, the inlaid jewel above the ushnisha now missing. The inside filled with metal, the bronez somewhat corroded and covered by a malachite patina. Sri Lanka. 6th/7th century.
