The gouache on ivory miniature depicting a gentleman in uniform. The openwork frame with fleur de lys motifs and pearls. Engraved dedication to the reverse: "Des Vaters Segen ruhet auf guten und frommen Kindern". Miniature: ca. 2.5 x 2 cm. Bangle: Diameter ca. 5.6 x 4.3 cm. Weight 37.5 g.
