A 14k red gold and silver jugendstil dragonfly brooch

The body set with 20 graduated cushion-shaped diamonds, the eyes with ruby cabochons, the wings with iridescent blue painted foil(?) inlays beneath a quartz cover. Removable brooch findings. With original leather case "Jos. Netter Hofjuweliere Karlsruhe - Pforzheim - Baden-Baden". Stamped Vienna fineness and control stamp for 1872 - 1922. Engraved to the reverse "Breveté S. G. D. G. registered patent a D. R. G. M.". Some small chips to the edges of the inlays. L 5.8; W 9.3 cm. Weight 31.3 g.
