A Belgian inlaid Baroque coffer

Inlaid with mother-of-pearl, painted and lacquered. The interior lined with later green silk. Inlaid to the lid with a large mother-of-pearl cabochon between floriate tendrils and flanked by two parrots. The inside of the lid painted with garlands. With an old, restored horizontal crack to the lid, minimal losses. 14 x 39.7 x 27 cm.
