A 17th century bronze group of Nessus and Deianeira, presumably Northern Italy

Cast in the round and with old patina.. A bronze group by a follower of Giambologna showing the centaur Nessus abducting Deianeira, the wife of Hercules, on his back.
Slight pale grey mottling to the patina. Mounted on a newer marble base. Height 23 cm (without base).
