A very fine Lan Na/Chiang Saen bronze figure of Buddha in maravijaya seated in padmasana on a lotus with a row of stylised stamen above a six-cornered base, the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, the left hand in dhyana mudra above the feet, the body carefully modelled with a short samghati ending above the breast and a full face, the head and ushnisha covered by small curls and sumounted by an onion-shaped jewel. The patina with brown and green areas. 15th century.
