A four-case inrô. 19th century

A four-case inrô with the Yatsuhashi motif of bridge planks crossing the iris pond in gold takamaki-e and hiramaki-e, the blossoms and buds of aogai, the leaves with kirikane, the water surface rendered with stylised waves in very fine lines. Signed Koma Yasutomi (Antô) saku. Red lacquer to the inside. 19th century. Along with a kagamibuta, the disc of silvered and gilt metal with a winged dragon amidst clouds, the bowl of tagayasan wood. Diameter 4.5 cm
