An unusual inrô of carved and lacquered wood showing Fukurokuju with a fan sitting on a crane flying by a waterfall on one side, and Kinko Sennin riding a carp amidst waves on the other side, to the narrow sides shippô-tsunagi in maki-e on a black lacquer ground. With a small gold-painted box with three cases inside. Second half 19th century. Along with an ojime of carnelian and a wood netsuke of a tortoise, signed the 88-year-old … Ranshû saku.
