Probably Alexandra Vasilievna Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya

"He who does not work should not eat."

Designed for a moulded plate. Decorated to the centre with the calligraphic inscription "KOMINTERN". The reverse inscribed "Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya" in pencil. Watercolour and gouache on thin, slightly yellowed wove paper. 30.2 x 23.6 cm. A smeared Cyrillic inscription and date in red gouache to the lower edge. - With tears and creases, the lower corners severly damaged.
