Blue crossed swords mark, blue enamel dash, painter's marks and impressed marks. Minor wear to the gilding. Diameter 23.7 cm.
Ca. 1810.

This service was originally commissioned by Frederick William III and his wife Louise, whose penchant for the Neoclassical taste lent the royal dining table an entirely new aesthetic, with both porcelain and silverware employing significantly more restrained forms.
