Two Berlin KPM porcelain plates made for Prince Carl of Prussia

With a cat motif on pale peach-coloured / pale pink ground bordered by a wreath of wild flowers. Blue sceptre mark, brown imperial eagle / red imperial orb, blue stamped marks "P.v.P." and crowned "K", impressed numbers, painter's marks. One ground down and retouched rim chip. Diameter 24.7 cm.
Ca. 1832.

Prince Frederick Carl Alexander of Prussia (1801 - 1883) was raised to the rank of General Lieutenant in 1823, and may have received this service on occasion of that honour.
