A Meissen porcelain potpourri vase and cover

Base and bowl fired in two pieces and screw-mounted. The lady and four children as an allegory of caritas. Blue crossed swords mark with cancellation, incised model no. 884, painter's mark, impressed no. Chips, one child's arm cracked, firing faults. H (with lid) 32 cm.
19th C., after a model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein from 1747.
