A Sinotibetan gilt bronze figure of the four-armed Manjushri. 18th century

Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the primary right hand held aloft brandishing a sword, the other hand held in vitarka mudra together with a stem of lotus supporting the book, the secondary hands holding a bow and an arrow, the figure is adorned with jewellery set with turquoise and coral beads. Base sealed.
