Forged band decorated with vine relief on matte embossed ground. Centrally set with an oval Ceylon cut sapphire of ca. 3.15ct (ca. 8.40 x 7.00 x 5.45 mm, fine colour, origin Sri Lanka). Stamped fineness 900, maker's mark. Ring size 61. Weight 15.36 g.

Gemstone assay report no. 026054 from the DSEF, Idar Oberstein, dated 22.06.2016 confirms the stone to be a natural sapphire with traces of normal heat treatment. Origin: Sri Lanka. Examined in the setting.
