An 18k gold and opal brooch

Set with a fine quality oval shaped opal (13.56 ct, ca. 19.6 x 16.5 mm) with lively opalescence; six rubies (with inclusions indicating Burmese origin, in total ca. 3.0 ct), and five brilliant-cut diamonds (in total ca. 0.20 ct, K/L, si). Custom-made piece. Stamped: Fineness 750. L 3.5 cm. Weight 8.1 g.
