A Geneva 18k enamelled gold snuff box

Of rectangular form with chamferred edges. The lid set with a painted enamel plaque depicting a Swiss mountain panorama with fishers by a lake, signed to the lower right "Richter". The fields to the body and the base with diaper pattern guilloché framed by chased borders and flowers in vases in champlevé enamel. Stamped: Maker's mark "RLM&C". Small restorations to the enamel in the upper part of the sky. Minimal surface scratches to the enamel. 15 x 8.5 x 6 cm. Weight 100.2 g.
