Neoclassical Overdoor with a Sacrificial Scene

Oil on canvas in a carved giltwood frame. Trompe l´oeil painting in imitation of a bronze relief on marble. Signed to the centre of the altar base: Sauvage. Some losses and old restorations. H 40, W 157 cm, with frame H 48, W 165 cm.
