An early Meissen porcelain slop bowl with landscape decor

Slender body with flared lip, decorated to the outer body and the centre with fanciful European landscapes in gilt quatrefoil reserves. With gilt lace border to the inner rim and "indianische blumen" between the cartouches to the outer. Gilt 64. Minor wear to the rim. H 8.1, D 17.8 cm.
Before 1723, decor attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, ca. 1723 - 25.
