A carved wood figure of the mourning Virgin, first half 18th century, presumably Austrian

Carved in the round. Partially overpainted older polychromy. A depiction of the Virgin leaning to one side with Her head bowed and wringing Her hands. Presumably originally part of a crucifixion group.
Parts of the plinth added. Minor wear. Height 64 cm.
